Sweep your tile floor as needed to remove any dirt or grit and wipe all liquid spills promptly to avoid staining. Beware that tile floors can become slippery when wet.
Once a week, damp mop using a cleaner that’s compatible with your grout. Never use regular detergents or soaps, which can dull your tile’s surface and promote mildew growth. Avoid acids, vinegar, chlorine, or ammonia, all of which can cause damage or discoloration.
As a preventative measure, use protective mats at all entryways and place furniture pads under all table and chair legs.
