Keeping your luxury vinyl floor looking beautiful does not require any special care or extra effort. As needed, sweep your floor to remove any dirt or debris. On occasion, damp mop for an additional clean!
Avoid using soap and detergents that can dull the shine of your floor and create a buildup that can cause discoloring. Most vinyl floors have a finish that requires no additional buffing, shining, or waxing. After mopping, be sure to dry your floors to reduce the risk of slipping.
Like all other floors, clean spills promptly. While luxury vinyl floors are waterproof, water can seep between the planks and make its way to your subfloor if left standing. Moisture trapped between your floor and subfloor can cause mold and mildew growth.
